stranger than fiction....

have you seen the movie 'stranger than fiction'? with will ferrell.

you should. really....you should.

i love this movie. dave and i saw it in the theatre when it came out.
it is so multi-leveled that at first what i thought was going to be a simple romantic comedy, turned out to be this brilliant tapestry of life, love, impending death, baked goods and literature...all of my favorite things. oh and a brilliant play on words that made every fibre of my being squeal with joy.

the writers.....completely broke my wee romantic-notioned brain with this one little part.



the woman is a baker. her life is about baking delicious treats and making people happy. she has her own little bakery. will ferrell is a tax auditor who was sent to the bakery to audit her. his life has been boring and routine and he is ruled by his wristwatch. after the audit, he can't stop thinking about her. after realizing he needs to change his life and actually start living..he shows up at her door.......
