where have all the trick or treaters gone?

i have read many posts this morning about the lack of trick or treaters last night.
and it makes me so sad.

we were all set. house decorated. pumpkin lit. lots of candy. i even had little trick or treat goody bags that i made.

we had about 5 kids come to the door all night.

when the first two showed up it was a few hours after dark and we were so excited that we gave them tonnes of candy and treats.

after that we had a few more. but that was it.

the ones that did show up were very very cute.

i was watching cp24 this morning and they were talking about the dwindling number of trick or treaters. parents are too busy working, families who come from places where halloween isn't celebrated, fear of candy from strangers.

sad...very sad.

maybe you don't know this...but i love halloween. like reallly love it.


when we have a kid...you can bet your ass there will be trick or treating.
