she knew how badly i wanted to see it and a month ago when she said she was working on it...offered to take me to the opening...i just didn't know when it was.

i text message didi and bail on her....i am so sorry sweetie. i'll totally make it up to you

now you have to understand how much i adore hair to fully understand my level of excitement at this point. the hair soundtrack is one of only a few albums (yes i said albums...yes i am old) that i can listen to repeatedly.....that isn't just a fad.
i have the soundtrack on my ipod and when one of the songs comes on....i am instantly made happy. the music, the story, the swirling happy peace loving hippies, the absolute joy in just living. oh and maybe the lsd and sex.
it was incredible.

trying not to sing along to every song was possibly the hardest thing i've ever had to do.
my desire to sing and dance around like a complete idiot was almost overwhelming. :)
and the long haired boys..........mmmmm....
and...omg......the end........wow....just wow.
